Get Skalara

Skalara runs in your browser today — no install, no store account, nothing to update. Desktop and mobile apps are on the way.

Use it in your browser

This is not a preview or a cut-down version. Messages, calls, screen sharing, groups and settings are all here, and it is the same product the apps will be.

  1. Enter your phone number

It identifies your account. We send a code to it to confirm the number is yours.

  2. Pick a username and a password

The username is how people add you — nobody finds you by your number. The password is checked against known-breached passwords before it is accepted.

  3. You are in

Add a passkey or an authenticator app in Settings when you have a minute. Both are stronger than SMS, and both mean a lost SIM is not a lost account.

What you need

RequirementWhat works
BrowserAny current Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. Calls need a browser that supports WebRTC, which all of these do.
Phone numberAn Iranian mobile number to receive the sign-in code. One account per number.
ConnectionMessages work on a poor connection. Calls want something steadier — video more than voice.
Microphone and cameraOnly if you want to make calls, and only when you start one. The browser asks first, every time, and the camera is never touched until you accept a call.

Windows, macOS and Linux

In build. The desktop apps wrap the same product with the things a browser tab cannot do well: launching on startup, a proper tray icon, notifications that survive the window being closed, and global shortcuts for mute and push-to-talk.

There is nothing to download yet, and no beta to sign up for. When the desktop builds are ready they will be linked from this page. If you find a "Skalara" installer anywhere else, it is not from us.

iPhone and Android

Planned, after the desktop apps. The web version already works on a phone browser and can be added to your home screen, which covers most of the gap in the meantime — the part it does not cover is reliable push notifications when the app is closed, which is the main reason the native apps are worth building.

Getting it safely

  • Skalara is only ever distributed from this site. There is no third-party mirror, no APK on a file host, and no Telegram channel handing out installers.
  • We will never ask for your password or a sign-in code — not by SMS, not in a message, not on a phone call. Anyone who does is not us.
  • Check the address bar before you type a password. A page that looks right on a domain you do not recognise is the oldest trick there is.

The web version is the full product. Everything below arrives later, and none of it replaces this.
